Agent Texting is an optional feature of Ayyo (ayyo.live), operated by Ayyo, LLC. When a user opts in, their Ayyo AI agents (Arlo, Lux, Knox, and Sophie) can send them recurring automated text messages from dedicated phone numbers — things like daily brief headlines, budget updates, approval requests, and replies to messages the user sends — and the user can text back.
This page documents the complete opt-in experience for the program. The opt-in itself lives inside the Ayyo web application (behind account login), so the full flow, the exact consent language, and all required disclosures are reproduced here for public review. Agent Texting is included with Ayyo's Pro plan (and its free trial); it is never required to use Ayyo.
How users opt in
Agent Texting is off by default for every account. Nothing is pre-checked and no phone number is collected at signup — texting is enabled only by the account holder completing all of the following steps inside the Ayyo app:
- The user signs in at ayyo.live and opens Settings → Notifications → Agent texting.
- The user types their mobile phone number and taps “Text me a code”. The consent language quoted below is displayed directly beneath the form at this step.
- Ayyo sends a one-time 6-digit verification code to that number by SMS. The user enters the code in the app to prove they own the number.
- On successful verification, consent is recorded (date and time, the exact consent language shown, and IP address) and the user receives a confirmation text that includes the brand name, message frequency, “message and data rates may apply,” and STOP/HELP instructions.
The exact consent language shown at opt-in:
I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from my Ayyo agents at the number provided (up to ~5/day). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
The in-app opt-in screen
This is a faithful reproduction of the opt-in card as it appears in the Ayyo app at Settings → Notifications → Agent texting:
Agent texting
Real texts, from your agents' own numbers
Your team texts you the things that matter — and you can text them back, same conversation as the app. Save their numbers when they say hi.
I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from my Ayyo agents at the number provided (up to ~5/day). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
Example of the confirmation text sent immediately after verification (sent from the user's lead agent's number):
Hey, it's Arlo from Ayyo - save my number, or just tap here: ayyo.live/c/arlo Msg&data rates may apply, up to ~5 msgs/day. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies, typically up to about 5 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using Ayyo. Agent-initiated texts are only sent between 9am and 9pm in the user's local time zone.
How users opt out or get help
- Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message to stop all Ayyo agent texts. A final confirmation of the opt-out is sent, and no further messages follow.
- Turn off Agent Texting any time in the app at Settings → Notifications → Agent texting.
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact support@ayyo.live.
- A user who opted out can resubscribe by replying START or by re-enabling Agent Texting in Settings.
